Armondo Mbrice
RETS Technical Center

RETS TECHNICAL CENTER is pleased to nominate ARMONDO MBRICE, of South Boston, for an Outstanding Student Achievement Award. Armondo immigrated to the United States six years ago after winning a green card lottery in his native Albania. He works excessively long hours in the restaurant industry in addition to being a full time student in the Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning program. Armondo has maintained a 4.0 grade point average and has an exemplary attendance record. What sets Armondo apart is his unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He has also become a leader in RHVAC lab, helping his fellow students by taking the time to explain his approach in solving lab assignments. Armondo is always guaranteed to volunteer enthusiastically for all tasks and is the first to arrive and the last one to leave class. His instructor stated, "Armondo makes teaching a true joy." Armondo is the perfect example of working hard to achieve the American dream, which with his continued excellent attitude and perseverance, we believe he will.
