Richard Daniels
Technology Learning Center

Technology Learning Center is very pleased to select Richard Daniels, of Dudley, MA., as our Outstanding Student for the year 2003. Richard is a hard working person who faced some difficulties in the past few years, but because of his determination he was able to overcome all obstacles. Richard got hurt on his job in 1998. His injury required four surgical operations, and cost him his job at a textile mill where he had worked for twenty one years. Instead of giving up, Richard decided to go back to school and learn a new trade. In September of 2002, he enrolled in the Boiler Operator - 2nd Class Fireman course at Technology Learning Center where he maintained an average grade of 94%. Shortly after graduation, he passed the State license exam and received more than one job offer. Richard is planning on advancing in his new field and is now working on receiving his Power Plant Operator's license. The faculty and staff at Technology Learning Center wishes Richard the best of luck and looks forward to watching him succeed in each step of his new career.
